Welcome to Lyne! We’re thrilled to help you find love and connection, Naija-style. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Lyne app, website, and services (collectively, the "Platform"), operated by Lyne Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"). By signing up or using Lyne, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t, please don’t use the Platform.

You must be 18+ and legally able to agree to these Terms. No kids allowed—this is a grown-up love zone! You confirm that you meet the minimum age requirement at the time of signing up.
One account per person. Keep your login details confidential—don't share them with anyone. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activities under it.
Use your true identity. No fake profiles, bots, or catfishing—authenticity is our vibe.
No harassment, hate speech, nudity, or illegal stuff. Keep it respectful, decent, and fun. Violation of this rule may lead to your account being suspended or banned.
Photos, bios, and messages you post must follow our rules. You cannot post copyrighted or offensive material unless it's your own work. You retain ownership of your content, but by using the Platform, you grant us a license to display and share it for matching purposes.
Don't misuse Ghost Mode, Likes, Bouquets, or Profile Boost features. Misuse for spamming or fraudulent purposes will lead to account termination.
We offer various features like Ghost Mode (invisibility), Likes/Bouquets (redeemable for cash/items), Profile Boost (top-feed visibility), and more to spark connections.
We may update, pause, or discontinue features at any time, as the platform evolves with the needs of our users.
While we provide you with tools to help you meet others, we cannot guarantee matches or love—it's up to you and your charm.
Profile Boost or extra Bouquets may cost you—prices are in the app. No refunds unless we mess up.
Recipients can cash in Likes/Bouquets via partners. Availability, rates, and items vary—check in-app for details. We're not liable for partner hiccups.
You are responsible for any taxes on rewards or payments received. Ensure you comply with applicable laws regarding taxation.
The Lyne name, logo, and app design are our property. Do not copy, modify, or misuse them without permission.
You own your content, but by using Lyne, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and store your content for the purposes of the platform (e.g., showing your bio to matches).
We value your privacy and take steps to protect your data. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on how we collect, use, share, and safeguard your information. Additionally, features like Ghost Mode allow you to maintain privacy when desired.
You can delete your account at any time via the settings—goodbye for now!
We may suspend or ban your account if you breach these Terms, such as for harassment or fraud. In serious cases, no notice may be provided.
Lyne is provided "as is", and we make no warranties beyond those required by law.
We are not responsible for bad dates, broken hearts, or third-party links outside of the Platform. Use the app with care.
Our liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months for any claims. We are not liable for indirect damages like lost profits, data loss, or emotional distress.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms will be resolved in accordance with the Nigerian Law. The resolution of disputes will be handled through binding arbitration, in line with the rules of the Lagos Court of Arbitration.
We will update these Terms as Lyne grows. Please check the "Last Updated" date regularly. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you via email or app pop-up. By continuing to use the app, you accept the updated Terms.
